As a Claims Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, overseeing and managing all company cargo liability claims. You’ll ensure settlements are reached within industry-standard timelines, all while maintaining best practices in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
If you have a strong background in Cargo and insurance processes, this role is your opportunity to shine! In this dynamic position, you’ll handle multi-component, moderately complex Cargo, Subrogation, and Insurance claims with precision. Your main responsibilities will include evaluating claims, gathering necessary documentation, and making sure everything is resolved on time and accurately.
Requirements : Your Day-to-Day :
- OS&D Management : Review all reported Over, Short, and Damage (OS&D) cases in the system. Assess damage value, gather necessary documentation, and process claims or fund releases accordingly.
- Bond Filing : Oversee and manage all bond filings, conduct thorough research on relevant issues, and provide attorneys with essential information.
- Document Management : Collaborate with departments, Sales, Pricing, Operations, and customers to ensure timely collection of all necessary documents for claim filing and processing.
- Accident Claim Management : Take a proactive approach in gathering and managing accident-related information. Maintain communication with all parties involved, file claims when necessary, and ensure timely resolutions that align with Paul Transportation’s best interests.
- Cargo Claims Management : Maintain open communication with all stakeholders to ensure cargo claims are resolved within the required timeframe. Collect all supporting documents and relay findings to customers.
- General Responsibilities : Take on additional projects and tasks as assigned by management and the organization
