As a Claims Specialist at Paul Logistics, you will oversee and manage all company cargo liability claims, ensuring settlements are reached within industry-standard timelines while following best practices in a highly service-sensitive environment. At Paul Logistics, we are dedicated to fostering careers and driving success, and in this role, you will play a crucial part in handling multi-component, moderately complex Cargo, Subrogation, and Insurance claims.
This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in Cargo, insurance processes and procedures. Your key responsibilities will include evaluating claims, gathering necessary documentation, and ensuring timely and accurate claim resolution.
Your Day-to-Day:
- OS&D Management: Review all reported Over, Short, and Damage (OS&D) cases in the system. Assess damage value, gather necessary documentation, and process claims or fund releases accordingly.
- Bond Filing: Oversee and manage all bond filings, conduct thorough research on relevant issues, and provide attorneys with essential information.
- Document Management: Collaborate with departments, Sales, Pricing, Operations, and customers to ensure timely collection of all necessary documents for claim filing and processing.
- Accident Claim Management: Take a proactive approach in gathering and managing accident-related information. Maintain communication with all parties involved, file claims when necessary, and ensure timely resolutions that align with Paul Transportation’s best interests.
- Cargo Claims Management: Maintain open communication with all stakeholders to ensure cargo claims are resolved within the required timeframe. Collect all supporting documents and relay findings to customers.
- General Responsibilities: Take on additional projects and tasks as assigned by management and the organization.

- 3-5 years of experience required in cargo and auto claims management or a related field.
- Proficiency in Transportation industry-standard claims procedures and software.
