The expected salary range for this position is $80000 $95000 per year depending on experience and qualifications. Overview

Sales Project Engineer. This is a direct hire permanent role in EastCentral Wisconsin.

The Sales Project Engineer will serve in a frontline role with our clients independent sales rep firm customers. The Sales Project Engineer will counsel reps regarding their products and pricing to best meet the needs of plan & spec and design & build opportunities brought forward by the reps. This is a team of creative engineers with excellent mechanical aptitude and communication skills who thrive on advising and collaborating with customers. In addition there is managing projects and collaborating with the shop to create new designs and processes or improve existing ones.

What You Bring to the Role. (Ideal Experience)

• Bachelors degree in engineering or Associates degree combined with equivalent job experience.
• 3 years in the HVAC industry as an engineer or sales rep.
• Extensive understanding of mechanical processes and cost estimating.
• Expert at consultative customer engagement.
• Seeks to understand the voice of the customer.
• Proficient at time management planning prioritization and multitasking.
• Serves as an effective brand ambassador.
• Collaborate effectively with the Layout Operations and Marketing teams.
• Possesses an appetite for learning and understanding products.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Ability to serve as a strong teammate Ready to support Inside Sale colleagues in direct service to the customers.
• Possess a high degree of creativity to define innovative and practical solutions that solve customers needs.

What Youll Do. (Skills Used in this Position)

Provide consultation to the organizations network of sales rep firms in order to ensure the proper product selection based on the supplied plans and specifications.

Evaluate the organization and competitors products for performance quality and sustainability.

Support Technical Sales on its development of new products and product enhancements based on market opportunities and requirements.
