Compensation $65-$100 / hr depending on experience
Clinical Healthcare Industry such as Hospital Experience is Required for Consideration and Experience with a Workday FIN Data Convergence project is required for this engagement.
Overview
The Workday Data Conversion Consultant will be responsible for the overall data conversion strategy and execution of the data conversion effort.
You will be working on a team of data conversion programming specialists and will be responsible for data conversion effort for a full platform Phase One (1) Workday implementation
The role will own the process and procedures necessary to convert legacy data to the Workday object model in the areas of Learning, HCM and Payroll, Finance, Research. Supply Chain and other related systems.
This role involves collaborating with stakeholders across multiple business and technical disciplines to develop and execute a comprehensive data conversion strategy.
This role will work directly with a Workday partner to ensure the successful delivery of the Workday suite of applications.
What You Bring to the Role :
2 5 years of Workday experience in data conversion for a hospital such as clinical healthcare provider, medical center, academic medical center, or higher education is required.
Expertise in Lawson data and Workday data structures
Expert programming skills in a common scripting programming language and / or ETL tool.
Demonstrable successful Workday ERP implementation project and optimization experience as a data conversion lead.
Experience with Workday implementation and data conversion methodologies
Experience with data conversion automation tools and frameworks.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate and manage in a matrix organization with multiple business partners and IT teams.
What You'll Do :
Work with the lead who has developed a data conversion strategy for the overall program and execute leading practices for converting legacy data to the Workday object model.
Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of mapping values, transformation rules, from the legacy system to Workday's object in the system integrator (Workday partner) preferred format.
Develop an automated script or use of data transformation software tools for the extract, transform, and load process that streamlines up to four (4) tenant builds.
Ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Continuously improve and resolve data quality issues between loads to ensure a quality data conversion process.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of data conversion processes, mapping specifications, and test results.
Provide regular status reports to project stakeholders and leadership.
Provide data gathering workbooks to the SI data conversion team via agreed secure transfer method
Develop and execute the catch-up transaction process for payroll parallel and go live tenant builds
Responsible for ensuring the security of personal identification and other sensitive information following security policy and procedures.
Assists with data validation report mapping.
Create and develop an archiving strategic process for the retention of legacy data.
