Position Title: Human Resources and Payroll Clerk
Status: Non-exempt
Department: Human Resources
Work Schedule: 30 40 hours per week, Monday Friday, with flexible hours between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm
The employee will work with the HR and Payroll team to set a schedule that works for them.
Work Location: 900 Beasley Street, Suite 110, Lexington, Ky 40509
Wages & Benefits: Pay based on experience with available pay raises as experience is gained, and careeradvancement opportunities will be available
Position Summary
Under supervision, works closely with the HR team to support human resources administration and payroll processing.
Examples of Duties (Illustrative Only):
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Perform periodic audits of payroll, human resource, and accounting software to ensure that all information is correct and consistent between programs.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to HR Director or management as appropriate.
- Preform payroll functions including pulling reports, calculating commissions, processing, journal entries, answering employee questions, verifying correct information is posted, fixing processing errors, etc.
- Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Google & G-Suite software
- The ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource software, and similar computer applications.
Must:
- Pass a drug test
- Submit to a criminal and driving record check
- Have reliable transportation
