Overview of the Warehouse Receiving Inspector: We are seeking a reliable, detailed oriented Receiving Inspector to join our Warehouse Operations Team. This role is responsible for the receiving of incoming goods, verifying shipments against purchase orders and organizing inventory following FIFO procedures. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, able to manage competing priorities in fast paced environment. The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Warehouse Receiving Inspector (include and other duties may be assigned)
- Physically receive and inspect all incoming shipments
- Process and verify purchase orders and match contents to packing slips
- Label incoming boxes and properly store inventory using the FIFO method
- Deliver received goods to designated departments within the company
- Restock inventory in the AutoCrib system and MRO shelves
- Process returned goods and complete associated documentation
- Fulfill replenishment requests from shop floor departments accurately and in a timely manner
- Pick and fulfill orders for the Casing Department
- Participate in daily cycle counting and inventory accuracy tasks
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times
- Break down and dispose of packing materials and waste from shipments
- Support and participate in department improvement projects and initiatives
- Work collaboratively with peers and supervisors, accepting and executing direction professionally
- Proactively identify and communicate process improvements or inefficiencies
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and man lifts (training and certification provided)
- Work safely at heights as required
Required Skills & Qualifications of the Warehouse Receiving Inspector:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the day
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification
- Comfortable working at heights up to 20’
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 is a plus
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Office Suite
Qualifications of the Warehouse Receiving Inspector:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory control role
- Understanding of warehouse best practices and safety standards
- Prior experience with FIFO (first in, first out) inventory rotation
- Knowledge of guitar parts and components

Hours of work: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Mon-Fri.
Salary: Starting at $17.00/hr. Another $1/hr. increase possible after 3 months!
