Paul Robeson Charter School (PRCS) is a free, lottery-based, open-enrollment charter school serving students from across Trenton in grades K-1 and 3-8. The 2025-26 school year is an exciting year for PRCS because we will start serving students in 2nd grade and become a full K-8 school!

Opportunity
PRCS is seeking passionate and hardworking Food & Cleaning Service Aide to join the PRCS family for the 2025-26 School Year. The person will be apart of the Support Services team and assist with Elementary and Middle School students. The hourly rate for this role is $22.
Responsibilities
- Receive food shipments and deliveries;
- Prepare and heat up meals for students;
- Serve meals to students at breakfast and lunch time;
- Support with general housekeeping tasks in the cleaning and maintenance of offices, classrooms, cafeteria's as directed
- Support the Operations team with light clerical work for school wide events and initiatives;
- Maintain a safe and orderly space;
- Assist with removing displays and decorations, if applicable;
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Positive attitude and friendly demeanor
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of standard health standards and regulations as they apply to food preparation and service.
Education and Workplace Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred.
