Hours : Monday thru Saturday, 8am to 5pm (40 hour work week, with possible overtime)
Starting Pay : Based on experience, $15 / hr minimum
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
Job Description :
The Auto Dismantler / Parts Puller is responsible for removing parts from salvaged vehicles, ensuring that parts are properly identified, organized, and prepared for sale to customers. The position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Identify and remove parts from salvaged vehicles using hand tools and power tools.
- Inspect and test parts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Properly identify and label parts, ensuring that they are organized and stored appropriately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and track the movement of parts.
- Foster positive relationships with customers and vendors to encourage repeat business and maintain a positive reputation in the industry.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding salvage yard operations.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including enforcing safety protocols and ensuring that all employees are adhering to environmental regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
