Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff.
- Properly store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas.
- Dispose of trash and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Help with bussing tables during peak hours to ensure efficient service flow.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food service operations, including knowledge of culinary practices, is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and support kitchen staff as needed.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to handle fast-paced situations while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks within the kitchen, including catering and banquet services when necessary.
