JOB SUMMARY
The Director of People Operations will be responsible (directly or through others) for the administration, coordination, evaluation and strategic function of all People and Culture related items. Leading all aspects of Human Resources and Marketing through an employee’s full life cycle (application to retirement) along with all other HR strategy and operations. Reporting to the Chief Operational Officer (COO), this position works alongside Executive Management and will be involved in a wide range of strategic planning and internal initiatives, including the creation and implementation of organizational strategies, staffing plans, policies, and practices. The Director of People Operations will be an ambassador of Brand and Culture both internally and externally.
HR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Be a trusted resource by effectively handling highly confidential and sensitive information.
· Collaborate with management to align on long-term goals and identify strategies to support business needs through human resources and culture.
· Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency gains.
· Manage employee’s life cycle from application to retirement, including brand attraction, recruitment and selection, onboarding, payroll, benefits and compensation, performance and recognition, training and development, succession and talent planning, off-boarding.
· Ensure compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.
· Build people management capabilities, including coaching and providing career and development advice.
· Establishing and enforcing workplace policies, providing guidance, counseling, and corrective actions to employees
· Managing employee benefits; medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, Life, AD&D, and 401k
· Continually evaluate employee performance and providing feedback as needed
· Coordinates company and community events
· Establishes and maintains department records, reports, KPI’s and employee folders
· Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
What We're Looking For
· Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Business Administration, Law, Human Resources or equivalent experience.
· 5 years of HR experience spanning strategy, workforce planning, policy development, and organizational change.
· Deep understanding of U.S. labor laws and compliance requirements.
· Strong communication & influencing skills - you can persuade, advocate, and build relationships across the business.
· Tech-savvy mindset - comfortable with HR technology, project management, and data analytics.
· Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where change is constant.
· Ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions that impact the organization.
· Experience with job analysis, compensation alignment, and offer processes.

Salary : $75,000 - $120,000
