Job Description
We are seeking a part-time college nurse to provide high-quality, student-centered care, including basic clinical services and health education. As a member of the Office of Student Wellness, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse student population and contribute to the development of health initiatives and programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, treatment, and referrals.
- Administer first aid, medications, and vaccinations as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
- Educate students on health promotion, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
- Collaborate with campus departments to support health initiatives and respond to public health concerns.
Requirements
- Current RN license in New York.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Phlebotomy skills preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with diverse individuals and groups.
- Knowledge of public health principles and student wellness.
Work Schedule
About 15-20 hours per week, with a competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience.
