\Job Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, treatment, and referrals for students with minor illnesses and injuries. \
- Administer first aid, medications, and vaccinations as appropriate. \
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with HIPAA and college policies. \
- Educate students on health promotion, disease prevention, and wellness strategies. \
- Collaborate with campus departments to support health initiatives and respond to public health concerns. \
- Potential to assist in planning and executing health programs, screenings, and wellness events. \
- Provide guidance and support for students with chronic conditions or mental health concerns, referring them to appropriate resources as needed. \
- Help maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure a clean and safe clinical environment. \
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York. \
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience (experience in college health, urgent care, or primary care preferred). \
- Phlebotomy skills strongly preferred. \
- CPR and First Aid certification required. \
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with a diverse student population. \
- Ability to work with a broad range of diverse individuals and groups to form a safe and inclusive campus community. \
- Knowledge of public health principles, student wellness, and campus health trends. \
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
