The Business Services Coordinator will assist in the end-to-end process of recruiting lateral partners, as well as support the day-to-day operations of the firm. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with strong interpersonal, writing and project management skills and demonstrated excellence in providing white-glove client service. This role will report to the Operations Support Coordinator and work closely with the Partners.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate meetings and interviews between lateral partner candidates, firm leadership, and practice group heads.
- Prepare and distribute relevant materials and documentation to support the recruitment process.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of all recruitment activity.
- Serve as a point of contact for relevant inquiries.
- Assist with collecting and organizing onboarding forms.
- Coordinate introductions and integration activities with current partnership and key members of the Business Professionals team.
- Monitor and report on progress of the lateral partner recruiting efforts.
- Assist with scheduling partner interviews during the internal partner promotion process.
- Send out companywide daily bulletins with important updates and announcements.
- Track and manage firm matching donations to ensure accurate records.
- Take attendance at partner lunches and maintain engagement records.
- Support the operational aspects of the firm’s business continuity program.
- Assist with other administrative tasks/projects as needed.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional services environment, preferably within a legal or similar setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information
- Excels in a fast paced, white glove service environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with applicant tracking systems
Salary: $67,000 - $72,000. Paul, Weiss offers competitive compensation and benefits packages. The firm considers a number of factors when determining compensation, including, but not limited to, education, years of experience, levels of experience, competency levels and other relevant skills and qualifications.
