Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures by preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary equipment is available
- Monitor patients during surgery and provide assistance as needed
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and effective procedure
- Administer medications and assist with post-operative care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Participate in discharge planning and patient education
Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Experience in operating room settings preferred
- Familiarity with Cerner or similar electronic health record systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Certification in CPR and ACLS is a plus
