Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med/Neuro team for night shifts. This role is open to both travelers and local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility), with locals receiving a lower rate.
As an RN, you will be responsible for performing patient care functions under the supervision of the Unit Director, in accordance with the State of Maine Board of Nursing and our hospital’s policies and procedures. The Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse will provide direct supervision during your assigned shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care in alignment with hospital policies and state nursing regulations.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
- Coordinate with the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse to ensure patient safety and effective care delivery.
- Handle multiple tasks and adapt to dynamic care settings while maintaining excellent patient care standards.
Job Requirements:
- Education:
- Current Maine RN license
- BLS and ACLS required within 30 days of hire
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience:
- Telemetry experience preferred
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility in work hours and adaptability
