How you'll work at Paula's Choice:

The Account Coordinator (AC) partners with their RSTE leader to drive sales revenue in a multi-door, micro-territory. This role is responsible for building strong retailer relationships, training and coaching in-store associates (in both Sephora and Nordstrom accounts), modeling successful side-by side selling in stores, planning and executing in store events in partnership with your RSTE, maintaining and upholding merchandising standards, plus leading promotional activities and product launch initiatives to reach sales targets.

As an Account Coordinator, a typical day might include a mix of the following:

  • Communicate with RSTE to strategically prepare, schedule and determine actions needed to meet sales targets in assigned territory
  • Plan, practice and execute retailer events and sales & training visits in your respective service doors
  • Plan and work in partnership with your RSTE Leader and Education & Sales Manager, to assist with higher level trainings and events needed to reach assigned sales goals
  • Plan your call cycle visit schedule with your RSTE leader and schedule in store visits 30 days in advance
  • Schedule Brand Business Reviews with RSTE & store leadership partners
  • Ensure successful implementation of all sales and training support tools provided to you by the Wholesale Education Team, to deliver engaging in store training and sales visits in your service doors
  • In partnership with your RSTE leader analyze, track and discuss your weekly sales and training performances
  • Communicate all store level needs to your RSTE
  • Communicate any store challenges to your RSTE, to diplomatically find solutions
  • Work with RSTE to strategically plan your monthly service door call cycle schedule 30 days in advance of store visits
  • Build and maintain store management relationships through consistent communication
  • Partner with store leadership partners to gather constructive feedback on your in-store visit performance. Report monthly scorecards and results back to RSTE
  • Participate in required brand webinars, in-person trainings and special education focused events to build brand expertise and collaborative field team relationships
  • Present & train on new and existing product knowledge in your service doors
  • Represent the brand by upholding and maintaining the highest level of standards to all merchandising guidelines
  • Communicate out of stock or visual merchandising needs to RSTE leader as needed, following all retailer policies and procedures
  • Maintain organization to ensure deadlines are being met, including but not limited to calendars, expense reports, weekly sales trackers, T & E tracker, store visit and event recaps
  • Communicate effectively and professionally
  • Maintain brand image standards set by your Wholesale Education Team
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by your manager

The details:

  • Hours: Full-time role that will require flexibility to work some evenings, weekends and some holidays
  • Physical requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand up to 8 hours on your feet in stores
  • Travel requirements: Up to 80 % travel, territories can vary based on geographical areas and are subject to change based on business needs (*Transportation costs policy will be covered in the interview process)
  • 20% Office/ Administrative Time: Regional Sales and Training Executive (RSTE) & Store Communications, onboarding & ongoing training, booking in-store visits, expense reports, store visit and event recaps, etc.

What you'll bring to the table:

  • 2 years of beauty industry experience or equivalently relevant qualified experience
  • 1 years managing a multi-door, multi-retailer territory
  • 1 years Sephora EDU portal OLR/ scheduling experience
  • 1 years of retail sales and training experience in a department store environment, Nordstrom preferred
  • Knowledge of skincare, clinical, cosmetics techniques and procedures, along with business terminology
  • Ability to travel within your region 80% of the time
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Superior selling skills with proven ability to set and achieve sales goals
  • Effective and engaging training skills that deliver consistent sales results
  • Proven ability to build relationships, drive sales and provide outstanding customer service
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously as well as with a team
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology and effectively use that technology to meet the demands of the role
