A vital and supportive member of the PCSD team, working collaboratively with educators, support staff, and administration to ensure all students receive the education they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform clerical duties related to student attendance accounting and record-keeping for accurate ADA reporting.
- Serve as liaison between students, parents, and staff regarding student attendance and discipline.
- Knowledge of district attendance policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Two years of general clerical experience involving record-keeping and public contact.
Duties and Tasks
- Review attendance data, records, and reports for completeness.
- Prepare, distribute, collect, and process forms and applications required for attendance accounting and record-keeping.
- Operate office equipment including computer, calculator, fax machine, copier, and typewriter.
- Liaise between students, parents, and staff regarding student attendance, discipline, district attendance policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Learn methods, procedures, policies, and terminology used in accounting for student attendance.
- Interpret, apply, and explain rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
