- Attend new site Job Safety Analysis
- Safely operate and control assigned equipment
- Dig pits, trenches or potholes as directed by job plan
- Responsible for the site set-up and clean-up
- Load and unload tools, materials and equipment from truck
- Set up a safety perimeter
- Perform work in all weather conditions
- Other duties as assigned
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- Must be able to pass a background check and company drug screening.
- Valid standard Driver's License or a Class A Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement
- MVR record that is deemed acceptable by the company - You are able to maintain a safe work environment
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
- Experience running heavy equipment preferred.
- Experience with drill set up and design processes, is preferred
- You are able to work in all weather conditions
- You are able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance
- You are able to work over-time; after hours; on weekends, for emergencies or on-call
- You are experienced with drilling equipment and understand their capabilities and limitations
- You are able to proficiently use locators to safely identify utilities - You may have experience with drill set up and design processes –
- You may able to read and understand work orders, safety rules and operating instructions
- You are able to climb up and down ladders, machinery, and other objects –
- You may have previous construction or utility construction experience Specific vision abilities required to perform this job include but are not limited to: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus potentially near and/or far as needed. Employees in this job classification may be exposed to dust, fumes or other airborne pathogens.
- Employees may be exposed to toxic or corrosive chemicals as well as moving machinery parts and pieces. Remote work may be required; long driving and sitting will be required.
- The noise level in the work environment for this position is moderate.
- Must be able to attend and pass all company required training as needed.
- May be required to work over-time; after hours; on weekends, for emergencies or be on-call as work is needed to ensure work is completed.
- May include working nights and holidays as needed.
- May be required to travel in state or overnight as necessary to meet business and job requirements.
- Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Routinely: work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motions, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
- Occasionally: work in confined spaces, use ladder, keyboard and mouse
