As a Payroll Associate II, you will play a vital role in executing the payroll function for your client group by collecting and entering data with attention to detail and a relentless commitment to accuracy and service excellence. Who You Are:

  • You have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • You have proficiency of understanding in payroll practices and procedures
  • You’ve got excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You are proficient with payroll software and the ability to learn new software
  • You are experienced and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • You’ve demonstrated the ability to function well in a highpaced and at times stressful environment
  • You have a demonstrated track record of keeping information confidential

What You Will Bring, Do, and Own:

  • Process payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates by meeting all deadlines
  • Maintain client employee payroll records
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws
  • Learn new software and systems as necessary, and assist in creating appropriate procedures and trainings to educate employees as needed
  • Maintain a billable percentage of 75% and realization of 90% each quarter
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education You Will Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, human resources, or related field preferred
  • One to two years of experience in payroll processing
