Pauli Ford is seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Lot Attendant to join our team. As a Lot Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the appearance and organization of our vehicle inventory and customer parking areas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Arrangement and Display: Organize and arrange new and used vehicles on the sales lot according to dealership guidelines to maximize visual appeal and accessibility.
- Inventory Management: Ensure accurate labeling and tagging of vehicles. Assist with inventory checks and the movement of vehicles between different areas of the lot or to off-site locations as needed.
- Lot Maintenance and Appearance: Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the vehicle lots, including sweeping, picking up trash, and ensuring vehicles are presentable.
- Vehicle Preparation: Assist with basic vehicle preparation tasks such as removing protective coverings, ensuring proper tire inflation, and checking fluid levels as directed.
- Customer Assistance: Greet customers in a friendly and helpful manner and direct them to the appropriate vehicles or personnel. Assist with locating vehicles for test drives or delivery.
- Service Department Support: Move customer vehicles in and out of the service drive and parking areas as directed. Ensure efficient flow of traffic in the service lane.
- Dealer Trade and Delivery Support: Assist with the receiving and staging of incoming dealer trades and the preparation of vehicles for customer delivery.
- Safety and Security: Maintain awareness of lot safety and security procedures. Report any potential hazards or security concerns to management.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the dealership.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles safely.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions and to perform tasks such as walking, standing, and light lifting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Physical Demands:
- The employee will be regularly required to stand, walk, and bend.
- The employee will frequently be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
