What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier / Barista position at Pavé NYC?
Pavé NYC, Midtown's hot Bakery/Cafe is looking for an experienced Service Personnel to join our team!
We are looking for someone who can start as a cashier, understand the guest flow, run food, bus tables and learn and/or adapt to our way of making coffee.
We have a slim team and intend to keep it small. We average about 400 transactions on a daily basis. Tips are added in addition to the hourly wage.
We are not looking for a barista who will stand behind the espresso machine and pull shots. We are look for someone who can think, adapt and move. This versatility allows us to keep our team effective. We look for candidates to learn and grow with the company as we grow. Upon hiring, everyone is expected to work through different stations (register, pass, dining room floor) first.
Applicant should have a minimum of one year experience/exposure working with specialty coffee drinks who has an in-depth understanding of coffee, hospitality, sense of urgency and teamwork.
