Farmers Market Sales Associate
Pay: $20/hour tips ($40–$100 extra per event)
Season: April 1 – November 1
Locations & Hours:
- NC Regional Farmers Market – Sat & Sun, ~7 AM–2 PM
- Cotswold Farmers Market – Sat, ~7 AM–1 PM
- Greensboro Farmers Market – Sat, ~6 AM–3 PM (mileage reimbursement included)
About the Role
We’re looking for friendly, dependable people to represent Pave Bakery at local farmers markets. You’ll pick up pastries, set up the booth, and handle sales while creating a welcoming, engaging experience for customers. Farmers markets are all about community, and we love having a team that enjoys connecting with people while sharing great pastries!

- Independence & Problem-Solving – You’re resourceful and confident in running a booth on your own.
- Reliability – Life happens, and we understand that, but we need team members who can commit to most Saturdays (and Sundays, if applicable).
- Punctuality – Farmers markets run on schedule, and being on time is essential for our reputation.
- Customer Focus – A warm, friendly presence makes a big difference! Engaging with customers (and avoiding excessive phone use) helps build strong relationships.
- Comfort with Outdoor Work – Markets are under large covered structures, but they aren’t climate-controlled. We provide fans, but it can still get warm.
- Flexibility with Weather – If extreme conditions like high winds or heavy rain hit, we may cancel the market.
Important: Vehicle Requirement
You’ll need a car that can fit several boxes of pastries. A standard 4-door sedan with an empty back seat and trunk works fine, but an SUV is ideal.
