This Account Executive will focus on driving growth in the aluminum surface treatment sector, managing key accounts while actively developing new business opportunities. This role requires a sales-driven professional with technical knowledge of anodizing, conversion coatings, and aluminum surface treatments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow accounts within the aluminum surface treatment space, focusing on anodizers, powder coaters, extruders, and job shops.
- Identify new business opportunities across architectural, automotive, and consumer goods markets.
- Work closely with technical service teams to ensure clients’ needs are met, including process optimization and troubleshooting.
- Conduct on-site visits to build relationships and manage customer accounts (50-70% travel).
- Collaborate with leadership to execute territory growth strategies.
- Manage sales pipeline and reporting through Salesforce CRM.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of technical sales experience in anodizing, surface finishing, aluminum treatment, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of anodizing processes, conversion coatings, and aluminum surface treatments.
- Experience selling into aerospace, automotive, or architectural markets.
- Proven ability to manage sales pipelines and close high-value deals.
- Willingness to travel 50-70% regionally.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $90,000 – $120,000
- Uncapped Commission Structure: Based on new business development and gross margin performance
- Mileage Reimbursement and Car Allowance (after 25,000 miles)
