The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with composites and a strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. They will also have knowledge of composite manufacturing processes and excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop composite materials, structures, and components for various applications
- Interface with customers to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Conduct testing and build prototype parts to validate designs
- Oversee composite manufacturing processes, including layup, molding, curing, and NDT Inspection
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and advancements in composite materials and manufacturing techniques
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with composites (academic projects considered)
- Knowledge of composite manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Understanding of material properties including fiber reinforcements, resins, and adhesives
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Must be a US citizen due to industry requirements
