Chemical Specialist (Sales) - REMOTE

Pave Talent is hiring on behalf of a Fortune 500 global chemical manufacturing company that specializes in anodizing, conversion coatings, and metal surface treatments for the automotive, aerospace, construction, and consumer goods markets.

This Account Executive will focus on driving growth in the aluminum surface treatment sector, managing key accounts while actively developing new business opportunities. This role requires a sales-driven professional with technical knowledge of anodizing, conversion coatings, and aluminum surface treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow accounts within the aluminum surface treatment space, focusing on anodizers, powder coaters, extruders, and job shops.
• Identify new business opportunities across architectural, automotive, and consumer goods markets.
• Work closely with technical service teams to ensure clients’ needs are met, including process optimization and troubleshooting.
• Conduct on-site visits to build relationships and manage customer accounts (50-70% travel).
• Collaborate with leadership to execute territory growth strategies.
• Manage sales pipeline and reporting through Salesforce CRM.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of technical sales experience in anodizing, surface finishing, aluminum treatment, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of anodizing processes, conversion coatings, and aluminum surface treatments.
• Experience selling into aerospace, automotive, or architectural markets.
• Proven ability to manage sales pipelines and close high-value deals.
• Willingness to travel 50-70% regionally.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $90,000 – $120,000
• Uncapped Commission Structure: Based on new business development and gross margin performance
• Mileage Reimbursement and Car Allowance (after 25,000 miles)
