Key Responsibilities π
- Conduct formulation work for new product development and improve current products
- Perform routine physical and chemical stability tests for assigned projects
- Carry out maintenance for laboratory equipment, with specific focus on HPLC systems
- Provide technical support to manufacturing sites for new and existing formulations
- Develop and validate new analytical test methods
- Test and analyze new raw materials
- Offer technical support for current products
- Prepare written test reports, public presentations, and posters
- Work with regulatory teams on global product registration
- Maintain thorough documentation and update laboratory notebooks
- Update laboratory SOPs and analytical methods
- Support QC department and help solve technical issues
- Produce products in the pilot plant
Qualifications & Requirements π
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry (highly preferred)
- 3-5 years of chemical laboratory experience
- 3-10 years of HPLC experience is MUST HAVE, including ability to operate and maintain HPLC equipment
- Experience in formulation development and testing related to antimicrobial, sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning products (preferred)
- Proficiency in basic analytical and application testing procedures
- Working expertise with instrumentation such as UV/VIS spectrophotometer, Viscometer, Autotitrator, Balances, and pH meters
- Understanding of lab safety and ability to work safely with chemicals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, specifically technical writing
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Some microbiology experience is a plus (in vitro)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document results
- Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Additional Information π
- Position involves 1-2 trips per year, possibly international (approximately 10% travel)
- This is NOT an entry-level role
