Pave Talent is partnering with an established specialty chemicals company to find a seasoned Controls Specialist for their industrial automation team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who excels in both electrical system design and PLC programming, with a proven track record of implementing complex automation solutions.
About Our Client 🏢 Our client is a NYSE-listed specialty chemicals company with a 50-year legacy in environmental solutions. Their Rock Hill, SC facility specializes in designing and manufacturing industrial wastewater treatment systems. This role offers the unique opportunity to work with a tight-knit team of about 35 professionals in a collaborative, hands-on environment.
Core Technical Requirements ⚡
- Design and implement complete electrical control systems, including motor and pump sizing
- Develop sophisticated PLC programs using Allen Bradley platforms (RSLogix 500 / 5000, Studio 5000)
- Create detailed electrical diagrams and panel designs using AutoCAD
- Program and configure operator interfaces using FactoryTalk and Panel View
- Implement analog control systems (4-20mA circuits) and digital I / O
- Design VFD systems and flow control solutions
- Work directly with manufacturing team during equipment build phase
- Provide technical support to field service team
