Controls Technician (Chemical Manufacturing, Allen-Bradley/Siemens PLC)
Pave Talent is hiring on behalf of our client, a century-old leader in the chemical manufacturing industry with the largest lime production facility in the Americas. This role is based at their flagship manufacturing center in Sainte Genevieve, MO.

The Opportunity
The Controls Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing automated control systems at their flagship facility. This position offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge automation technology in one of the most advanced lime production facilities in the Americas.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems in chemical manufacturing processes
- Work extensively with Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on automation equipment
- Monitor and optimize process control parameters for calcium extraction
- Document maintenance activities and system modifications
- Collaborate with production teams to implement process improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Electronics, Automation, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years' experience in industrial controls maintenance
- Demonstrated expertise with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC platforms
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and control circuits
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Experience with HMI systems and basic programming capabilities
Preferred Skills
- Chemical or mineral processing industry experience
- Knowledge of DCS systems and industrial networks
- Familiarity with NFPA and NEC standards
- Background in GMP environments
- Experience with industrial instrumentation calibration
