About the Role
As a Cost Accountant, you will play a vital role in managing the financial operations and cost analysis of the organization. This position offers the opportunity to drive financial accuracy while working closely with the manufacturing team to optimize costs and improve processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing costs and maintain standard cost systems.
- Prepare and review monthly variance analysis reports.
- Support month-end close process and financial reporting requirements.
- Track and analyze inventory valuations and product costing.
- Collaborate with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
What We're Looking For
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience: 3-5 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
Expertise: Strong background in manufacturing cost accounting and variance analysis.
Technical Skills: ERP experience (Epicor preferred).
Collaboration: Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally.
