Role Overview: The Director of Revenue & Margin Accounting will play a crucial role in overseeing core accounting functions related to manufacturing, inventory valuation, revenue, and margin analysis. This position reports directly to the VP of Finance and leads a team of two accounting professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team consisting of a Staff Accountant (focused on costing/manufacturing) and a Senior Accountant (focused on revenue/margin)
- Partner with operations and sales teams to provide valuable financial insights and support
- Drive process improvements and optimize existing procedures
- Participate in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics, transitioning from legacy systems
- Oversee manufacturing costing, inventory valuation, and revenue recognition
- Contribute to strategic decision-making through detailed margin analysis
- Collaborate with other accounting directors to ensure seamless departmental integration
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 7 years of accounting experience
- Experience managing at least two direct reports
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
- Experience with enterprise-level ERP systems
- Track record of process improvement and change management
- Strong business partnership and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or CPA
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar modern ERP systems
- Manufacturing or beverage industry experience
- Cost accounting knowledge (though not required if candidate demonstrates strong accounting fundamentals)

Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $140,000 - $165,000
- Annual Bonus: 5%
