💼 The Opportunity: We're seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to cover the Greater Cincinnati region and surrounding states. While candidates can be based anywhere in the Cincinnati metropolitan area, they must be willing to travel extensively throughout the territory. The role involves regular Monday-Friday travel (up to 85%) serving customers across southern Ohio, northern Kentucky, and southeastern Indiana.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair sophisticated food processing equipment at customer sites
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical support
- Conduct preventative maintenance and equipment repairs
- Generate detailed technical reports and maintain service records
- Manage spare parts inventory
📋 Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of mechanical or electrical repair experience
- Strong knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics
- Must be based in the Greater Cincinnati area
- Willingness to travel up to 85% throughout the tri-state region
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive up to 5 hours to customer sites
- Comfortable with air travel for destinations beyond driving distance
