About the Opportunity 🔧
The Maintenance Planning Specialist role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and optimize the facility's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) while developing and executing mechanical and electrical best practice goals. You'll be responsible for ensuring top operating system performance while managing within set budgets and maintaining critical equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities 📋
- Supervise all aspects of the CMMS in a manufacturing environment
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the preventive maintenance program
- Plan and execute mechanical and electrical Best Practice goals within the CMMS environment
- Develop and execute plant equipment revitalization projects
- Create and implement instrumental training programs for plant mechanics and electricians
- Manage maintenance parts pricing, vendor relationships, and inventory budgets
- Partner with Maintenance and Operations departments to optimize maintenance scheduling
- Execute continuous improvement initiatives to drive out loss and increase line efficiencies
- Perform work order quality audits and provide recommendations for team efficiency improvements
- Conduct safety training and enforce safety procedures for production personnel
