π The Opportunity: This role offers a unique blend of hands-on manufacturing engineering and process improvement in a dynamic environment where you'll see your designs and improvements implemented directly on the production floor. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes and drive quality improvements.
πΌ Key Responsibilities:
- Interface with Production, Quality, and R&D teams to develop and optimize manufacturing specifications and control systems
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting and technical support for manufacturing equipment
- Develop SOPs, FMEAs, and control plans to ensure consistent product quality
- Lead capX projects and interface with contractors for equipment installations and upgrades
- Write purchase requisitions and manage supplier relationships for equipment and parts
- Create and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes and equipment
- Direct maintenance work activities and communicate requirements to all involved parties
π― Ideal Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering
- 5-7 years of industry engineering experience
- Hands-on manufacturing experience is essential - this is not a desk-only position
- Basic SolidWorks/CAD experience (willing to train the right candidate with strong manufacturing background)
- Experience with automation systems is highly desired
- Strong project management skills and ability to work with contractors
- Experience with process optimization and quality control systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
