Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safety remains the top priority for all team members ⚠️
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues at two North American plants (Maine and South Carolina)
• Plan and execute laboratory experiments, pilot trials, and plant projects with in-depth problem analysis
• Evaluate process equipment, flows, and simulation models to boost operational efficiency and support plant expansions
• Recommend and coordinate CAPEX equipment selection, purchasing, and commissioning (projects in the millions to tens of millions)
• Audit plant processes to identify bottlenecks and propose actionable solutions
• Deliver timely reports, presentations, and memos to communicate findings at various levels

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, or related discipline) 🎓
• 1-5 years of process engineering experience in manufacturing, ideally in mineral processing or similar industries
• Hands-on experience with equipment like chemical reactors, dewatering systems (e.g., centrifuges), and milling/grinding systems
• Familiarity with plant automation software (e.g., Rockwell PLC systems) or AutoCAD is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and thrive in a plant environment
• Self-motivated with proven problem-solving skills and the capacity to work independently

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications
