Senior IT Audit Manager

Pave Talent is hiring on behalf of our client, a leading advisory and assurance firm serving a diverse range of industries. 🚀 This role offers the chance to join a high-impact IT Internal Audit & Technology Risk team, advising clients on critical cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management strategies.

🛠️ What You’ll Do:

• Assess IT environments, identifying technology risks and advising clients on security, compliance, and efficiency improvements.
• Lead engagements focused on IT governance, risk, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, NIST, NYDFS, ISO 27001).
• Conduct IT audits, security assessments, and regulatory compliance reviews.
• Prepare formal reports and recommendations for senior management and audit committees.
• Collaborate with teams across industries, including financial services, life sciences, manufacturing, and government contracting.
• Manage multiple projects while leading and mentoring teams of professionals.
• Stay up to date on emerging IT risks, cybersecurity trends, and compliance standards.

🔍 What We’re Looking For:

• 7 years of IT audit & technology risk experience, including 3 years in management.
• Strong knowledge of cloud, cybersecurity, identity & access management, and IT infrastructure risks.
• Expertise in risk frameworks (SOX, NIST, COBIT, FedRAMP, SSAE/SOC, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• One or more certifications: CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CISM, or CIA.
• Experience managing remote and hybrid teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
