About the position
OVERVIEW – The sales representative is the driven, energetic, opportunity-minded face of company success. This position is salaried, full-time, in the field daily from Mon-Fri, and responsible for partnering with both the general manager and owner daily, helping to expand the company to $5.0M by 2028. The geographic territory is western Twin Cities. Persistence is a key attribute of this role and contributes to the tone of excellence and high expectations for the entire Pavement Resources team.
PRIMARY TASKS – This position is responsible for the daily activities of supporting a small business toward daily success, including:
· Contributing to business contracts and growth: selling asphalt patching, crack sealing, and catch basin repairs with average sales between $2,500 - $20,000 per contract.
· Customer base: commercial, industrial, and government
· Territory: Western Minneapolis
· Time management: ability to self-manage schedule and tasks each work week.
REQUIREMENTS – The following experience is mandatory to be successful in this role:
· Outside sales experience, with a customer base in a similar or related field.
· Three years (minimum) of sales experience.
· Must have own vehicle, clean and in good, drivable condition.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES - The following experience is preferred and can contribute to success in this role:
· Sales experience in asphalt, concrete, construction, or related type of business.
· Degree in Business. Management, Communications, Organization, or similar area of study
BENEFITS – The following benefits apply to this role:
· $60,000 per year base salary, with eligibility for commissions
