Civil Superintendent
Location: Richmond, IL
Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 (Based on Experience)

We’re partnering with a trusted company to find a motivated and skilled Civil Superintendent to oversee daily operations and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
What You’ll Do:
As the Civil Superintendent, you’ll be at the heart of managing civil operations, ensuring project timelines, budgets, and specifications are met. Here’s a snapshot of your key responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead the planning, scheduling, and coordination of civil projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and guide civil crews, including equipment operators, laborers, and subcontractors. Ensure high standards of work and safety on-site.
- Quality Control: Monitor and ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards. Address any issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols, conduct regular safety meetings and inspections, and investigate any accidents or incidents.
- Budget and Resource Management: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and coordinate procurement of materials and resources to optimize efficiency.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project managers, clients, and subcontractors. Provide progress reports and attend project meetings.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in civil construction, including excavation, site utilities, or paving. A minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Certifications: OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour Construction Safety Training, First Aid/CPR, and equipment certifications are preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of civil techniques, materials, and equipment. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required; equivalent work experience is also valued.
- Bilingual: Spanish proficiency is a plus but not required.
