Speech Therapist Responsibilities :
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess residents' speech and language abilities.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
Provide therapy sessions to improve communication and swallowing skills.
Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
Document progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
Educate residents and their families about communication disorders and effective strategies.
Speech Therapist Qualifications :
Valid Ohio state license to practice as a Speech Therapist.
Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred.
