Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities of Human Resource Manager :
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Maintain and update company's employee handbook.
- Consult legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with federal and state law.
- Create and revise job descriptions.
- Oversee performance review program ensuring reviews are completed annually.
- Prepare employee status change document for promotions, salary changes, and transfers.
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits.
- Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation.
- Design and implement employee retention strategies.
- Manage recruitment efforts including job postings, interviews, conferences, meet and greets.
- Manage and maintain iHire program. Ensures managers are trained and make regular updates in the program.
- Prepare offer letters and collect onboarding documentation.
- Plan and conduct new employee orientations. Coordinate training with hiring manager.
- Administer benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance, paid time off, leave of absence.
- Maintain & verify accurate PTO balances based on years of service and employee usage in iSolved program.
- Investigate accidents and prepare reports for insurance carrier. Keep record of any OSHA Reportable incidents on an OSHA 300 Annually.
- Work with Front Desk Receptionist to manage Corporate Office.
- Plan and organize all company events.
- Assist with annual benefits renew.
- Maintain company organizational charts and employee directories.
- Any other additional responsibilities as assigned.
Secondary Functions : Assist Managers, Executives and staff when requested. This is a full-time, in office position.
