Position Responsibilities:
- Drive Strategic Growth: Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize revenue and market share within key biomedical and semiconductor front-end metrology OEM accounts in North America.
- Achieve Sales Excellence: Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas, driving significant revenue growth through successful design wins.
- Cultivate OEM Partnerships: Identify, qualify, and penetrate new OEM customers, building strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at all levels.
- Lead Product Integration: Manage the entire design-in and qualification process for key OEM accounts, including developing customer product specifications, ensuring successful product qualification, and overseeing the ramp-up of new product deliveries.
- Provide Expert Support: Offer exceptional customer support, responding promptly to inquiries, communicating delivery timelines, and resolving support issues efficiently.
- Strategic Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate 12-month rolling revenue forecasts on a monthly basis, deliver comprehensive competitive activity reports, and update sales plans quarterly.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify new opportunities, competitive threats, and emerging trends.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to ensure customer requirements are met and new product innovations are aligned with market needs.
- Travel: Willingness to travel throughout North America to meet with key OEM customers, attend industry trade shows, and participate in technical meetings.

Promote our WhisperIT® CW diode laser modules (renowned for their stability and precision), Lapis® laser & LED engines (versatile solutions for diverse applications), Comet® detectors (high-sensitivity detection), and BASOE® biomedical application-specific engine solutions (tailored for advanced diagnostics). We specialize in semiconductor metrology, which is the measurement science used in semiconductor manufacturing to ensure the precision and quality of the chips produced.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales quotas within the biomedical and semiconductor OEM markets, with documented examples of successful design wins.
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial and commercial laser sales experience.
- Deep understanding of laser technology, optical systems, and the specific needs of biomedical and semiconductor OEM customers.
- Strong presentation, time management, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), contract negotiation, market analysis, and strategic account planning.
- Passionate, self-motivated, persistent, and results-driven.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering; M.S. or Ph.D. preferred. MBA is a plus.
