Pavilion Medical Home Care is a reputable medical home health agency dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services to our community. We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Home Health Medicare Coder.
Responsibilities:
- Review and accurately code home health Medicare claims according to coding guidelines and regulations.
- Ensure proper documentation and coding of medical records to support billing and reimbursement.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify coding discrepancies and obtain additional information as needed.
- Stay updated on changes in coding guidelines, regulations, and Medicare policies.
- Assist in conducting internal coding audits to maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Work collaboratively with the billing and administrative teams to resolve coding-related issues.
Qualifications:
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or relevant coding certification.
- Previous experience in home health coding and Medicare regulations is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Working Hours:
- This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. Days can be negotiated to accommodate the candidate's schedule.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $22.54 - $24.07 per hour
