What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Pavilion Restaurant?
We are looking for competent Restaurant Servers who are quick on their feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. You’ll be the face of our restaurant and directly responsible for our customers’ dining experiences.

PAY:
- $3.13/hr tips (our servers typically earn $15-$20/hr with tips)
- We do not do tip pooling, whatever tips you earn, you keep.
- Credit Card Tips are paid out every night.
- Paychecks are distributed every week on Friday via direct deposit.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Show up ready to work and maintain a positive attendance record by reporting to work on time for your scheduled shifts.
- Follow all company policies, systems, and procedures to ensure consistency and professionalism in service.
- Adhere to all alcohol serving procedures, including beverage service standards, awareness, and government regulations.
- Accurately track and report daily tips according to company procedures.
- Prepare and organize restaurant tables with attention to sanitation and presentation.
- Greet and attend to guests as they are seated, take orders, input them into the POS system, serve food and beverages (no food runners), and issue accurate bills.
- Provide recommendations for complementary menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle guest complaints or problems positively and accurately, within the scope of your abilities and authority.
- Work closely with other front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth, seamless dining experience for guests.
- Assist fellow team members with station duties and side-work when needed or available, contributing to a positive team environment.
- Complete start-of-shift, running, and end-of-shift side-work duties, as well as end-of-shift checkout procedures, to company standards and expectations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have the ability to read and communicate in English clearly and effectively.
- Must be efficient and accurate with money and figures.
- Must have the ability to lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift and manually handle/serve food.
- Must have the ability to work in a standing position/walk for long periods of time.
- Must have exceptional hospitality including enthusiasm and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Must be able to reliably commute to and from work.
- Must have access to the internet (digital schedule).
