Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Control 4 Service Technician to join our security business unit.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Install Security, Access, Sound, Intercom, Camera, and Life Safety systems for clients in timely matters
- Install and Service any residential home automation systems
- Provide the industry's best customer user experience
- Use your good judgment in all situations
Basic Qualifications:
- Control4 Programming Experience
- Lutron Lighting certification
- A minimum of 4 years' experience with Audio/Video and home theater is required to apply
- Possess a professional work ethic and can represent our company professionally
- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
- Work well with others and be able to work as part of a team
- Speak fluent and clear English
- Possess your own personal hand tools and battery drill
- Understand low voltage terminology, L.V. device knowledge, Cable termination types and able to read blueprints
- Willingness to constantly learn new concepts, methods, and technology
- Extensive knowledge and experience of setting up audio/video equipment
- Ability to systematically identify and solve technical problems
- Understand Control4 integration framework (Ability to set-up and configure projects using Composer a must)
- Extensive knowledge of multi-zone/multi-room wiring
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Great customer service attitude
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to document work and turn in paperwork in a timely manner
Preferred Qualifications:
- Network certification
- Alarm and Fire installation experience
