Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Foreman to join our security business unit.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning to completion
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
- Maintain control of safety, quality, and customer expectations
- Supervise and direct the work of fire alarm technicians and other crew members
- Assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure work is completed according to standards
- Train and mentor team members on fire alarm systems and safety procedures
- Evaluate, organize, and control all reporting employees and field-related functions
- Ensure fire alarm systems are installed and maintained according to industry standards and codes
- Perform inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems
- Repair and upgrade fire alarm systems as needed
- May manage vendor relationships
- Inspect and maintain tools and equipment
- May be responsible for ordering materials
- May assist with the repair and maintenance of fire suppression systems
- May be required to respond to emergency service calls
- Prioritize safety on all projects and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any safety concerns
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the field installation crew
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 2-4 years of experience in maintenance, repairs and small additions to existing access control and video systems
- Valid driver license and acceptable driving record
- Manufacturer Certifications (i.e. Lenel, AMAG, SWH, Genetec, Avigilon, Hanwha, Axis)
Pay range $50 - $64 per hour
