quench is a full-service marketing and advertising agency under the Pavone Group, Inc. company whose focus is on food and beverage clients. We're looking for an ambitious and talented Social Media Strategist to join our team.

Driven by a passion for the connections made through social media, this social media strategist will leverage their deep experience in the social space and be in tune with emerging trends and audience targeting capabilities to generate traction and engagement for our clients across key social channels.

  • This position will work from our Philadelphia, PA office in a hybrid capacity. (2 days remotely / 3 days in the office).

Requirements :

  • Bachelors Degree in Communications, Marketing or related field
  • 3 years of experience developing and enacting social media strategy required (advertising agency experience preferred)
  • Food and beverage, CPG marketing experience preferrable.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation and research skills
  • Experience with social media management systems and social media analytics tools
  • Understanding of the social media universe, including experience with platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest and possibly others
  • Skills / Abilities :

  • Ability to write and manage multiple clients simultaneously
  • Ability to articulate and educate the client about social media trends, habits and behaviors on an ongoing basis
  • Works well under pressure : multitasks, re-prioritizes and adheres to deadlines
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Job Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Implements knowledge of social media platforms and the latest marketing strategies, tactics and emerging applications and technologies into their daily approach to client work.
  • Translates business objectives into social media objectives, with correlating benchmarks.
  • Analyzes available insights and define overall distribution and amplification strategy to select social platforms, content amplification principles, segmentation, KPIs, objectives, ad format and placement, tagging strategy and audience targeting.
  • Interfaces with agency communications planning to ensure that plan components across TV, OOH, Print, Audio, digital, etc. are positively impacted by an applied social sensibility.
  • Helps establish leading relationships with key social platforms and technologies to drive adoption of products, practices and opportunities that support client objectives.
  • Develops strategic social media communication plans & associated budgets and audience targets both independently and collaboratively with client and agency partners.
  • Implements social media paid campaigns across all channels, and manages Community Managers post promotion activities.
  • Contributes to the development of marketing plans, inclusive of influencer campaign recommendations and execution.
  • Develops recurring social media reporting and optimization of dashboards and possess confidence in delivering those to clients and internal team members.
  • Evaluates a clients execution of social media campaigns and strategies, offering specific recommendations backed by experience and sound data analysis.
  • Pushes all partners to enhance earned media optimization and measurement approaches.
  • Works closely with the various Account Managers at the agency and Social Team members who serve as the primary point of contact for client campaigns, on ideation (briefs) and strategy formula to ensure strategy recommendations are in alignment with the clients goals and brand positions.
  • Possesses the ability to articulate and educate the client about social media trends, habits and behaviors on an ongoing basis.
  • Researches and stays up to date of all social media trends, platforms, developments, vendors and keeps client apprised of social media best practices both internationally and domestically.
  • Proactively participates on internal and external client-team conference calls with prospective and existing clients.
