Housekeeping - Room Attendant

The perfect candidate will have prior experience cleaning houses or work in the hospitality industry cleaning commercial hote. You will perform a wide variety of cleaning tasks to meet our standards including cleaning pet rooms, floors, walls, dishes, laundry, cages, equipment, and overall cleaning within the pet resort.

Schedule and Hours: We are hiring one part time individual for this position. We are looking for availability Monday -Saturday 4pm - 7:30pm and Sunday schedule is 7am - 7pm, rotating weekends. Ideal candidate is flexible to work week days and weekends, approximately 20 hours per week. Afternoon availability required.

$13 - $15 hourly

Primary Job Duties

• Clean pet suites after dogs leave being extremely detailed on metal, corners, and edges to ensure they are cleaned and disinfected well
• Clean wooden floors throughout entire building
• Clean and disinfect all cages
• Wash and put away bowls
• Wash and put away all pet blankets and towels
• Organize and tidy pet supplies areas
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors
• Scoop waste from artifical turf, spray off stains, and disinfect
• Clean doors, door frames, vents, windows, cabinets, shelves, counters walls, outlets
• Inspect rooms and public areas to accepted health and safety standards
• Clean bathrooms disinfecting all bathroom toilets, floors, and surfaces
• Dust or wipe down all flat surfaces, vacuum, sweep and/or mop floors
• Replenish room supplies, toilet paper, soap, trash liners, etc.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas
• Observe precautions required to protect animal guests, immediately reporting any damage to a room, or safety hazard for animals to a manager
• Notify Manager of any maintenance issues.
• Notify Manager of left behind belongings and bag and tag the items according to policy
• Keep storage areas and feeding carts stocked, cleaned and organized
• Wear appropriate attire per the dress code
• Other duties as assigned

• Can lift up to 50 pounds
• Can confidently move dogs in and around facility walking them on a leash
• Continuous standing, walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, moving about and lifting
• Frequently bends, kneels and crouches
• Repetitive movement of hands, arms and legs, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, pushing and wiping
• Exposure to hazardous chemicals (cleaning materials), odors, dirt and dust and adverse weather conditions.
• Exposure to dog and cat eliminations including feces, urine, vomit, and blood

Experience and Requirements

• 1 year cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred
• Work Authorization required
• Flexible schedule required. Evenings, weekends and holidays may be required.
• Must pass a background check
• Random drug tests are performed
