Title: Assistant Varsity Football Coach
Job Location: Paw Paw High School
Reports To: Athletic Director and Assistant Athletic Director
Job Type: 2025 Season Contract
Minimum Qualifications:
· Must possess a High School diploma
· Extensive experience with football
· Strong organizational skills
· Must be able to work within a coordinated football curriculum from middle school to varsity level
· Strong personal and social skills with the ability to effectively communicate using a variety of media
Preferences:
· Experience and/or willingness to organize and assist with in-season and off-season practices, workouts, and competitions
· Possesses knowledge of the MHSAA football rules and regulations
· Willingness to build meaningful positive relationships with staff and student body
· Possesses the ability to motivate athletes to work toward program philosophies and goals
Job Description:
· Coordinate and assist in-season and off-season practice and conditioning opportunities
· Assist the program under the direction of the Varsity Head Coach
· Teach and instruct the sport of football, while working to develop and emphasize positive character traits in all athletes
· Provide coaching and guidance to athletes prior to, during, and after competition
Salary/Benefits: Per VBCEA/PPEA, MEA-NEA Contract, Schedule C
