Title: Floating Kitchen Aide
Job Location: Various District Buildings
Reports to: Food Service Director
Job Type: Hourly/Non-Exempt
Minimum Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
Skills and Abilities:
· Work efficiently and effectively
· Computer and cashier knowledge including all duties assigned with the cash out process
· Demonstrate good communication skills, both written and verbal
· Possess good customer service skills appropriate for contact with staff, teachers, parents, and students
· Exhibit quality time management skills
· Able to stand for long periods of time
· Able to bend and lift up to 50 pounds
· Knowledge of Meal Magic preferred
Job Description:
· Kitchen assignment is subject to daily change as placement is dependent on need
· Work as part of a team and assist fellow co-workers in their duties
· Prepare and cook food in large quantities
· Maintain routine records related to food, service, and inventory
· Serve and clean-up kitchen and cafeteria
· Keep kitchen at Health Department regulation standards
· Properly check in food products and place them in appropriate storage areas in timely manner
· Other duties assigned by the Food Service Director
Salary/Benefits: Starting at $14.48; commensurate with experience

Days/Hours: 6 Hours/Day; 7:00 am -1:30 pm including a 30-minute unpaid lunch
