Title: Groundskeeper (March-November)

Reports to: Director of Facilities and Technology
Job Type: Seasonal/Full-Time/Hourly/Non-Exempt
Minimum Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
· Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
· Ability to pass a physical and drug test
Preferences:
· Experience and/or training in lawn care
Job Description:
Duties may include but not limited to:
· Weed whip, edge, and clean sidewalks, drives, curbing and flowerbeds
· Mow lawns with hand and zero turn mowers
· Performs district wide grounds maintenance work such as field marking
· Prune trees and trim hedges and bushes to promote growth and improve appearance
· Work with the maintenance department to care for and maintain equipment and tools
· Maintains all safety and code requirements of the State, Local, and Board of Education guidelines
Salary/Benefits: $17.50 per hour offered
Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m. start time
Start Date: March 2025
