The Role You Play
This position provides supervision and oversight to the Transitional Services Team, project director and oversight of grants, and manages evidence-based practices utilized in grant process. The manager will assist in community care coordination, building relationships and creating access to resources throughout the service area.
- The Day-to-Day
o Ensure all supervised services are delivered and documented by staff in a timely manner, meeting all state and federal requirements
o Participate in on-call work to help cover staff vacancies when backup resources are not available
o Hire, supervise, and evaluate a qualified staff as directed by the Crisis Director
o Collaborate with Crisis administration staff in program planning, promotion, and problem solving to promote client satisfaction and program growth
o Participate in community initiatives that enhance integration of care for clients
o Work in collaboration with local correction officers on re-entry process for those discharging back into the community
o Maintain effective and productive relationships with other Pawnee departmental staff, community agencies, and external referral sources
o Aid in access to recommended services such as inpatient hospitalization, substance use services, outpatient therapy, adult community-based services, and other psychiatric services as needed
Requirements : Required
o Licensed by the BSRB of the State of Kansas as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (LMFT, LMSW, LCP, or LMLP.)
This requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a closely related field.
o Strong oral and written communication skills using the English language
o Basic computer skills
o Valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance
o Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, overnights, and holidays when necessary
Preferred
o Clinical licensure and ability to practice independently strongly preferred
o 1-2 years of supervisory experience strongly preferred
o Previous experience as a clinician working with clients in acute and crisis situations
o Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
